Certificates Available Upon Request
This page explains what this site does and does not state about certificates, and how to frame the certificate question in an inquiry.
The only certificate statement this site makes
Certificates available upon request. That sentence is the only certificate statement on this page, and no other certificate statement is made here. No certificate name, number, issuing body, or validity period is published here, because none was verified to a standard that would justify printing it. A buyer who needs documentary evidence should treat the inquiry as the place to ask for it, naming the screen category and the application direction so the supplier can say which documents, if any, cover that category.
This restraint matters because a certificate that covers one product family does not automatically cover another, and a document that applied to one order does not automatically apply to the next. The inquiry should therefore ask not only whether documents exist, but which category and which scope they cover, and whether the supplier can provide copies before an order is confirmed. Answers to those questions belong in the supplier's reply, where they can be checked against the actual order.
How to frame the certificate question
A useful certificate question names the category first. For woven wire screens, the question concerns the woven family; for polyurethane screens, it concerns the polyurethane family; and for accessories, it concerns the accessory line rather than the screening surface. Naming the category prevents a general assurance from being read as coverage for a specific item, and it lets the supplier answer precisely instead of generally. The same care applies to application directions: a document relevant to mining screening is not automatically relevant to water treatment screening.
The inquiry should also ask how the supplier will evidence the scope it claims. A buyer can ask for the document itself, for the name of the body behind it in the supplier's own words, and for confirmation that the scope matches the category and quantity being ordered. If the supplier cannot provide that evidence, the buyer learns something useful before ordering rather than after. None of this requires the buyer to know certificate terminology in advance; describing the category and asking for scope confirmation is enough to start.
Certificates and the rest of the order
Certificate questions sit alongside the other questions an inquiry should settle, not apart from them. Minimum order quantity, lead time, trade terms, and payment method all need confirmation before an order is placed, and the certificate question should be confirmed in the same message so the supplier can answer the order as a whole. A buyer who confirms certificates late, after other terms are settled, risks finding that the documentary position does not match the commercial position.
For that reason, the inquiry checklist pages on this site place the certificate question among the first questions to settle, rather than treating it as an afterthought. A buyer following those checklists will ask about certificates, availability, and timing together, and will receive a reply that can be compared against the category page the inquiry started from. If anything in the reply contradicts what this site publishes, the buyer should raise the contradiction in a follow-up message.
Questions to settle about certificates before ordering
- Which screen category should the certificate question name, and which application direction applies?
- What scope should the inquiry ask the supplier to confirm for that category?
- Should the inquiry ask for copies of the documents before confirming an order?
- Which other order questions should be confirmed in the same message as certificates?
